Windows XP to Ubuntu Linux

I’ve started saying that I’m never buying a new Windows operating system again. That I’ll either continue with my migration to Mac OS X and/or start using Linux – preferably Ubuntu. I already have my old Vaio on dual boot XP/Ubuntu. Bookmarking this for future reference:

After about 6 weeks of heavy use, there’s nothing that has me wanting to move off Ubuntu. It’s remarkably solid and well-designed, and maybe no more than 2 years away from being something anyone could use. Definitely a keeper.
