Google Base Spammed Upon Launching

Google Base launched today as a massive database of just about anything you can think of (yes, kinda like Craigslist). Immediately the site has been stocked with mentions of casinos and porn. The listings do include a link to report a spammed entry. Will the brainiacs be able to stem the tide?
