‘Stuff White People Like’ Blogger Nabs Book Deal

I knew this would happen as soon as I found myself giggling at the long essays of what white people like to do over at Stuff White People Like:

San Francisco: [I]t is important to be aware of the fact that regions outside of San Francisco feature many people who are not white, gay or Asian. They are greatly appreciated during the census, but white people are generally very happy that they stay in places like Oakland and Richmond. This enables white people to feel good about living near people of diverse backgrounds without having to directly deal with troublesome issues like income gaps or schooling.

Congrats to the blogger and writer!!!

OMG, that blog is so freaking hilarious. I had never even heard of it until now!
As a white liberal San Francisco gal, I was frightened how much I see myself in the posts. Egads.
Will you and Ron adopt so that you can be my mixed-race gay couple friends with kids? It would be a white person home run.
A dear friend (from SF of course) is a bi-racial, gay but celibate Jehovah’s witness. Does it get any better than that?
