Parents Seek to Ban Blogs in Schools

The parents say teenagers are using the computers to glamorize the use of drugs and alcohol, promote parties and post personal information – including provocative photos. Parent Kathi Collum is with Parents Unite, a newly formed Juneau parent-advocacy group. She says they want to let parents know this type of behavior is going on.

I think the best thing to come from all of this is the kids have learned how to type fast.
It’s easy IT guys: just block the domain names on the intranet. The kids will still just blog via email from their Gmail accounts.
