Journal of Accountancy: Blog Article

I was pleased to receive my latest copy of Journal of Accountancy (I only read it for the tech articles!) and to find an entire article about blogs, entitled Would You, Could You, Should You Blog? It’s a great article for the more conservative types and gives readers resources to get started.
The article provides a few mentions of blog for accounting/finance types, but you would need to be a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) to appreciate them (and to not fall asleep while doing so). To seeing an article like this really says that blogs are big and here to stay. While, personally, I can’t see them catching on in a big way with CPAs, I do think they can provide valuable information sharing among the profession and in serving their clients. (Refers to the June 2005 issue of JofA.)
