Researchers in Canada have found:
- Decisions about a site's credibility and appeal are made with 1/20th of a second of viewing a page
- Younger surfers view/evaluate websites faster than older surfers
- "even if a website is highly usable and provides very useful information presented in a logical arrangement, this may fail to impress a user whose first impression of the site was negative"
- Interesting: we recognize sketches more quickly than photographs.
